Bringing new and antique together, Antique Scandinavia is a European antique house catering to the Chinese market. We import and deal in items from early 16th Century all the way up to mid nineteen-hundreds.

Antique Scandinavia was born out of a shared passion for antiques by the founders Johannes Källström, Anthony Greenwood and Casper Oldén. The team has a genuine and life long expertise of valuing, buying and selling antique pieces and art from European sources. Among our customer base are famous auction houses, such as Bukowskis, Stockholms Stadsauktioner, Christies, Lots Road London and Criterion Auctions of London.

We have dealt with everything from valuable paintings, art, sculptures, furniture and interior decoration from the 16th to the 19th century as well as modern design and jewelry. Antique Scandinavia has presence in four differentcountries. Our head office is located in Karlskoga (SE), our international distribution centerin Örebro (SE), our purchasing office and warehouse in Hertfordshire (UK), our Asia office on Canton Road (HK) and our development, sales office and distribution center in Shenzhen (CN).

Our Story

The phenomenon of “passing on history” always intrigued the two friends Anthony Greenwood and Johannes Källström. They started dealing antiques between England and Sweden back in the late 90’s, although back then it was a completely different operation – spending day in and day outvisiting the flee markets and antique shops around Anthony’s native Hertfordshire. While visiting oneof their usual shops on late summer day in 2014 they discovered the shop owner had entered into an agreement with a Chinese client, to supply one container of items each month.

Recognizing a good business case but knowing very little about China, they slowly started to investi- gate the opportunities that the market presented. This is when they came in contact with Casper Oldén, a marketing veteran with a history in China. The trio commenced on their quest to supply the Chinese market with high quality European antiques in early 2015.
